Collaboration with Luis Barragan Exhibition

Green Wise collaborated with the ‘Visit the Luis Barragan House & Studio Exhibition’ which is currently underway at the Watari-um (The Watari Museum of Contemporary Art) by recreating its garden.
Luis Barragan (1902 – 1988), a famous Mexican architect is loved by many people all over the world as an icon of modern architecture such as the structure of walls with unique coloring like abstract art and gardens created making use of water and light.

he Luis Barragan House & Studio, which was registered as a World Heritage Site in 2004, has been recreated at the venue. The architects Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizwa of SANAA, who are active on an international level, worked on the venue structure including the garden.

The original furniture, ornaments and paintings from the Barragan Residence in Mexico are on display and visitors can enjoy Mexican tea while looking at the garden.
