In June 2026, GREEN WISE Co., Ltd. obtained B Corp™ certification, an international corporate certification system.

B Corp™ is a certification system that comprehensively evaluates a company’s social and environmental impact. Strict standards are set not only for profits, but also for responsibilities and initiatives toward employees, local communities, the environment, and customers. Currently, more than 10,000 companies in over 100 countries worldwide have obtained this certification.

For over 120 years since our founding, GREEN WISE has nurtured the relationship between people and nature through greenery, working to solve challenges faced by corporations and local communities. Through landscape design, environmental consulting, environmental education, and the planning and management of community programs, we have established our environmental activity standard: “cultivating a lifestyle in nature, that also connects to nature,” and we strive to achieve this vision.

In recent years, we have also been involved in supporting companies to obtain environmental certifications such as SITES®, SEGES, and OECM (Nationally Certified Sustainably Managed Natural Sites). Through these efforts, we have strongly felt the importance of objectively understanding, explaining, and continuously improving the value created by nature and landscapes.

In the B Corp™ assessment, companies are questioned not only on “what kind of initiatives they are undertaking,” but also on “to whom and what kind of value those initiatives bring,” and “how they track and improve those results.” Through this process, we were able to re-examine the impact of our business on society and the environment, gaining a new perspective to evolve into a better company.

There is also another major reason why we pursued B Corp™ certification: to expand our connections with companies that share our values.

The B Corp™ community brings together companies from around the world that are taking on the challenges of solving social and environmental issues. GREEN WISE has always generated new value through collaboration with many partner companies, experts, and customers. By obtaining this certification, our network with domestic and international B Corp™ companies will expand, allowing us to connect with and implement a wider variety of diverse projects.

Through these connections, we intend to provide our customers with even higher-quality proposals and services, contributing to the creation of greater social and environmental value.

Obtaining B Corp™ certification is not the goal, but a new start.
