Green Wise was commissioned by Tama City to prepare a commemorative gift for Fujimi Town (Suwa District, Nagano Prefecture), its sister city.

Fujimi Town celebrated the 70th anniversary of its establishment in 2025, and a commemorative ceremony was held on 11 May. As a gift from Tama city, a bouquet-making workshop was offered for the occasion. In addition to the workshop, flower pots and seed paper were also prepared for visitors.

The bouquet-making workshop was conducted in collaboration with staff members from Tama City.
Participants were free to create their own arrangements by combining plants from Tama City – such as peonies and perennials harvested from our rooftop garden – with plants from Fujimi Town, including lilies of the valley, the town’s official flower, and local wildflowers.
The resulting bouquets beautifully embodied the friendship between the two sister cities.

The flower pots that were distributed had been replanted and cared for by Green Wise, using plants that had completed their role in previous projects. By offering these plants free of charge to many visitors, we were able to share the sense of ‘green circularity’.

In the video message from the Mayor of Tama city shown during the ceremony, he spoke about the ‘Green Gift’ – an initiative unique to the lush, green city of Tama.
As a local company based in Tama City, Green Wise was pleased to play a role in this event between sister cities.
