The 2018 New Year’s decorations for Tamagawa Takashimaya S・C.

This year we focused on making the New Year’s decorations truly unique to Tamagawa Takashimaya S・C, challenging ourselves to express its power and elegance using pine, bamboo, and plum.

By juxtaposing the bold curves of the pine trunk and natural bend of its branches with the straight lines of the red and white string curtains, our design places emphasis on the pine tree’s power and the organic beauty of its outline.
